Technical requirements for gold extraction equipment in the gold chute
Chutes are common in small gold mining operations. The selection of gold troughs has the characteristics of simplicity, ease of operation, convenient operation, and low investment. The disadvantage is that the recovery rate is low and the labor intensity of manual clearing is high.
The technical requirements of the chute are:
1. The inclination angle of the chute is generally 5°~7°, and the maximum is no more than 3°. The bottom of the chute is covered with baffles or rough soft surfaces, and gold carpets are stuck.
2. The height of the chute cannot be greater than the depth of the water flow, and the ratio between the two should be less than 1, usually 0.4 to 0.6.
3. The liquid-solid ratio of the ore slurry in the chute is generally 10-12:1, and the flow rate of the ore slurry is 1.0-1.67 m/s.
4. The surface velocity is not greater than 2.4 m/s ore flow, and the thickness should exceed 0.5 to 1 times that of the large particles in the selected material. There is no phenomenon of tailings silting and clogging the chute.
